Actually, I am not buying a prebuild setup I am building my own backup(external). I am putting four 250 Gb Hard Drives with a Raid Controller card installed in the computer attached to two eSata connections for ajoining the unit to my computer.
Now I can do Raid backups without one of the units sold ( they are a RipOFF - so small need too many).
Remember, sending / recieving information via the external unit will be much slower than an internal unit. Do not expect the same performance.
