Okay, I'm a musician who is buying a Firewire based recording interface. My computer is a Dell Dimension 3000, and so I need to install a firewire input. I have three available PCI card slots in my computer so I was under the assumption I had what I needed to install the input. I went to Best Buy and bought a "IEEE 1394 Card Bus Adapter". I came home and went inside my computer to install it into a PCI slot only to find out that it doesn't fit. I read the back of the package of the card bus adapter that I bought and under system requirements it says I need: "Pentium 133 Mhz computer with one available PCMCIA card slot." I'm guessing I am really unlucky and a Dell Dimenson 3000 doesn't come with one of these stupid things? Anyone know what one is, where I can get one, and how I can install it after I get it?
