How do I open up the back plate of a wristwatch? I want to replace the battery, but I'm not a watch fixit...
Yup. That's it. I have a watch and I want to see what kind of battery it uses. Is there any simple way I can open up the back plate SAFELY just to see what kind of battery it has? It's obviously precious, so I don't want to break it. I need to replace the cover back on afterwards.
Don't be fresh. I need help. 
...well, it does have indentations. Except they're REALLY itty-bitty small. I doubt a screwdriver will help me out. But thanks. 
I have a DIY kit, but to the unskilled there is a risk of damaging the back. so beware. If it has a castlated back plate then the likelyhood is that is water resistant and opening it will render that in- effective. To be safe take it to a repairer, not expensive and the risk of damage will be his responsibility.
