usb ports on my laptop only run at 1.1 and surpose to be 2.0?
i have a avent 7101 laptop and the two usb ports only run at 1.1 i have checked all the drivers done all the updates and even restored my laptop also i have brought a pcmcia cardbus to give me 2 extra usb ports but this wont work but it works fine on my wifes does anybody have any ideas thanks
Well when you bought it did the salesmen or laptop say it had 2.0 speed USB ports?
If they did you need to go and complain because you haven't got any.
OR
It may be due to the fact that the item going into the USB port isn't 2.0 compatible but that is unlikely
