So i posted earlier...my car wouldnt start this morning...got it jumped....went to autozone, they tested it and said the battery was fine, tested alternator and said that may be the problem....So then i try and the truck starts up on its own.....So then I take it to a Tune and Lube place...they do a diagnostic check on everything...They say everything is working just fine (starter, alternator, etc..)..They tried and succesfully started the truck on its own multiple times..Upon further investigation, they said A. the negative battery terminal wasn't hooked up correctly and B. the postiive terminal was overly corroded and needed replacing........all this for a total of 75$...does this seem like a legit answer to the problem??
Sounds typical, in context. Labor costs are about 75-90$ per hour and many places charge a min of 1 hour or 30 min. If you don't know what the costs are going in, its your responsibility to find out before you agree to have service done.
