Computer power turn on from a power strip.?
My computer, monitor, printer and scanner are all hooked up to a power strip. When I turn the power on on the strip, everything turns on except the computer which I have to turn on manually from the power button on the computer.
Is there a way so the computer also turns on (Like monitor etc) when I turn the main power strip on?

on some computers theres an option in the BIOS menu to select "auto power up" on plugging it in. also check and see if theres a power switch at the back of your computer and check your computer control panel setting.
