What is a better power supply for a Dell Dimension 2400?
I want a more powerful power supply (so more than 200W) that can support an intel Pentium 4 2.8Ghz processor.
If your computer is working then you don't need to replace the power supply unless you are adding a video card that requires an additional power plug on it. Adding memory won't hurt your power supply.
Historicaly the power supplies thet come in the Dells are pretty good and sized well for the system.

But to answer your original question bigger is better so any power supply larger in wattage is better.
