It's a Sony VAIO desktop from the USA. We justrecently brought from there to the Philippines which uses 220-240V.
Can I plug this directly to any 220v outlet or do I needto get a transformer? Thanks.
That's what was written on the power supply thing. It had no switch to chang voltages.

Yes you can. On the back of the power supply around where you plug in the cord to the computer, there should be a switch that reads that you can switch the voltage. If not check inside the computer for a switch. If there is no switch then it automatically adjusts to the voltage. If you look at the specs, you will see under input that it accepts 200-240V.
