Are you serious? Look at the prices between the 2. I'm sure you can already work it out.
The 8800 XFX GeForce is much faster. Faster GPU, more shader units, and has 256 bits memory interface. Not to mention the DDR3 high speed VRAM.
The 8500 does not even come close. It may have more VRAM, but core GPU speed and bus speeds are more important.
