When I startup my computer, the BIOS does not see that I have my two DVD-RW drives and one CD-RW drive on my PCI IDE card. It causes me to have to swap my drives around in case of a format and fresh installation of windows. I only have 1 IDE controller on my MOBO, and the cables I have will not reach to make a workable connection (DVD as master and primary hard drive as slave or vice versa; secondary HDD on PCI card IDE slot 1 and DVD and CD on slot 2). Are longer cables even made so I can set up my drives as I stated? Or is there anyway to get my bios to recognize the card? I've searched through the BIOS without any luck, the only thing I don't recognize is a bootable device labeled LS120 (maybe?). Windows recognizes the optical drives flawlessly, they are labled as SCSI.
