I have an ASRock AliveDual eSATA2 motherboard... I recently bought an AMD Phenom II X4 955, and I want to overclock it, but AMD OVerdrive gives me this message:

The BIOS is VERYYY limited, so an alternative method of overclocking would be cool. Thanks.
you need a 7 series chipset to run amd overdrive. its an ok program but your not missing much...overclocking through software is flaky at that....its never stable, the program will say it is but as soon as you run prime 95 it errors right away...
the only way to truely overclock is through the bios....how limited is the bios? if its that limited the only thing you can do is buy a new motherboard...you really have no choice...
