do new cpu + fans all ready come with thermal grease?
okay so i got a AMD x4 640 cpu, and i noticed the fan/heat sink has a silverish sticky stuff where the cpu would be touching it. does it all ready have thermal grease on it? will save me $10 ha ha. this is what i bought.

The "sliverish, sticky stuff" is the thermal grease; so, yes, it already comes with the CPU.
I believe most (if not all) non-barebone CPUs that come with a HSF will have the thermal grease on them. However, depending on if you are an overclocker or not, the thermal grease isn't exactly the best, but it will do.
