Is this ram compatible with my Lenovo 3000 n100?
here is Crucial's website: http://www.crucial.com/store/listparts.aspx?model=3000%20N100%20Series%20%28All%20Types%29
Now I'm pretty sure it is, but I want to make sure, is this ram compatible: http://cgi.ebay.com/512MB-DDR2-PC5300-667MHZ-SODIM-LAPTOP-RAM-MEMORY_W0QQitemZ120511456158QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item1c0f0ae39e
Is this ram compatible with my laptop
Also- when it says it has 2 ram slots, does that mean that I have two available to upgrade or is my existing ram already taking up one?
and actually I'll probably by this one: (my firefox is jacked up so it won't copy and paste, so I'll just type the title) 1GB (2x512mb) DDR2 PC2-5300 notebook laptop ram. I'm almost positive that'll work?
In theory, yes. However, the Ebay listing does not give the actual detail of the chip layout. Crucial gives 64x64 1.8V CL=5 as the spec... If you can email the Ebay seller and ask what the sticker says on the memory chips, if the numbers are similar, then you will be more sure.
About 95% of the time, most generic memory will work in most laptops. It's just the 5% that requires more detail before buying...
