What's wrong with my Computer?
A few days ago, while I was watching some videos on YouTube, my PC just shut down, no warning, nothing (I don't remember if it just turned off, or if it went through shut down sequence of saving, power off, etc). And now this morning when I turned it on, it just went to a black screen with a flashing "_".
I pressed the spacebar and it went to another MS-DOS screen asking me to choose my OS (Win7). Though the rest of the boot sequence was normal, I am still concerned. Do any of yall have an idea of what may be happening?
System Specs:
Pentium 4 CPU @ 2.8GHz with Hyper threading Enabled
Windows 7 Ultimate Edition 64BIT
1 TB Samsung F1 HDD
2.5 GB DDR2 RAM
PS: I recently cleaned out the inside of my PC with a leaf blower (!), might that have knocked something out? (won't do that again)
I'm getting from this that you're being prompted to choose your OS everytime you boot the computer up,
Try;
Control Panel > System > Advanced System Settings > Start Up & Recovery Settings > Select Your Default OS > Unselect Time To Display List Of Operating Systems.
This should stop you being prompted to choose an OS and go straight into Start Up
