Do I need a laptop cooler?
I'll be buying an Acer Aspire AS7551G-5821.
Specs:
Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
CPU Type: AMD Phenom II Quad-Core N930 2.0G
Memory Size: 4GB DDR3
Hard Disk: 500GB
Graphics Card: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650
Video Memory: 1GB DDR3 VRAM
I'll probably be using it around 5-6 hours at a time. Maybe 2 to 3 hours for some light gaming and a few more for browsing and homework. I won't have to leave it on at night so it'll be on hibernate or off overnight. Based on the usage, will I need a cooler?
Notebook computers are designed to adqueately cool themselves.
Usually the only need for a cooler is a warm environment (room) or ventilation problems that will cause heat to build up around the computer (keeping books and such against the sides).
