Hi guys, my nx6110 notebook laptop is constantly displaying The topic: "Power surge on hub port". And then followed this message"A USB device has exceede the power limits of its hub port". on the notification icon, on my taskbar Please help me out, cos I don't know what to do. Hi. Do u experienced this problem at the time your notebook kept charged? If so, stop charging your notebook then remove the charger from your notebook and check your notebook's hub with a multimeter or tester. It may due to high flow of current.(check your laptop batteries condition too)
I encountered the same problem, with my PC. There was a slight flow of current (earth) in the side boards of CPU.. And i saw the same notification, "Power surge on hub port". And then followed this message"A USB device has exceeded the power limits of its hub port". That was due to the variations in supplying power by UPS... (UPS fault)
