harmon/kardon connection to xbox and tv.....?
i have a harman/kardon avr 146 and i was wondering how i could connect it that the song will come form the tv to my stereo system. the problem is the tv has only a video and left audio plug. So is there any way i could project two speaker sound with one speaker outlet in the tv. And for the xbox how would i connect it to the speaker so that i also can hear sound from the xbox. Will the sound from the xbox be two speaker? what cables would i connect and what would i Connect it too?

Sorry man, I'm having trouble following what you are saying. I believe you are saying you've got a TV that is missing an audio input (so you have one audio in (red or white) and a video in, (yellow)) correct? You also have a HK AVR 146 receiver and an XBOX. Do you have speakers other than the ones in the television? And what exactly do you want to do, play video games and listen to music at the same time? It kinda sounds like you're confused about how an AV receiver works. From your XBOX, plug the yellow "plug" into the AVR 146 where it says "VID 2 IN" and then plug the red and white plugs in right below that where it also says "VID 2 IN". Now you just need to plug a cable into the yellow "monitor out" plug and plug that into your TV's yellow plug. Connect two speakers (if you have them) to the FRONT "R" & "L" connectors. Now you have stereo sound. Turn the volume on the TV all the way down, you don't need it anymore. Make sure you select the VIDEO 2 Input on the AVR 146 and you're good to go. How do you get your television? Cable,/Satellite, antenna, digital antenna...? Let me know and I'll help you set that up too. Sorry if you already knew all of this or if this isn't at all what you are asking for. It's not apparent what you know or are exactly asking from your question...
