Help With south bridge chip-set?
I Just Installed a chipset cooling fan on my south bridge chipset....after I Installed It windows doesnt see my 2nd video card In SLI..or will It see the PCI sound card....my computer worked GREAT b4 I Installed the fan, Any suggestions?
I tried adding the old stock heatsink back on and nothing...I used bother power connectors on the motherbored and still nothing...and It takes longer for POST to come on my screen with this Issue
I assume you also changed out the southbridge heatsink. If it's giving you these issues it's probably related to over-heating (That, or you might have shorted something out with static while changing the fan, but that's kind of unlikely). Make sure the heatsink is seated correctly against the chip, and make sure to use quality thermal compound.
