How do I fix my laptop's resolution if it became all stretched out?
I recently hooked up a 19" LCD monitor to my laptop and as soon as I turned it on, my laptop resolution became all stretched out. I'm pretty sure it ran at 1280 by 1024 but even at that setting, everything still looks stretched out. I tried removing the LCD monitor and restarting but nothing. I tried running the resolution at other settings as well but nothing looks right. Any ideas on how to get my laptop screen back to the way it was? Thanks!
Oh and my laptop has a 15.1" widescreen WSXGA screen while the LCD monitor I hooked up was a standard 19" non-widescreen. I don't know if that matters but I figure I might as well add all the details.
