dont tell me to buy a mac instead. i had a mac book pro, i absolutely hated that thing, and luckily i got a friend to sell it for me and got most of my money back.
eh, its ok. however(im not going to say get a mac lol i hate mac's) there is more out there for the money you are willing to spend. Here are some of the brands that I like personally being a computer technician myself:
Toshiba (very good, many people overlook it, the Satellite models are excellent)
Dell(the 6400 inspiron is nice)
compaq presario v2000
Laptops that i absolutely would not get:
any of the sony laptops
any knock offs (obviously)
apple apple apple (i do not like apple computers, hardly any true computer tech really does)
i've never heard of sager, but i would go to see one in person first.
I have own all of the laptops i have talked about above^ and have personal experience individually with each of them
i personally own a toshiba satellite A105, and i love it and have been running it for 4 years straight
