I also got some 2.1 speakers, a bag, a car charger, and an HDMI cable.
I would need the laptop for watching movie and listening to music both at home and on travel. Also wanted the bluray player for the 1080p television.
I play most of my games on the 360. I really like the Civilization series, and would probably dabble into similar games.
How does this set-up look? Is there anything that you would want to get with this set-up? Is there anywhere I can learn how to utilize the benefits of a decent CPU?
That computer is one of the fastest and best known, especially for its price. I currently am saving up to get one myself after extensive research. Your 2.5 gz intel core 2 duo will definetely allow you to listen to music, watch movies and play games AT THE SAME TIME.
I can tell yours might be more of the higher kind than the regular 2.0 ghz core 2 duo.
The 9 cell battery would last a LOT more than any other battery, but it is a bit bulkier but that creates a nice keyboard standish thing.
Blueray, not a huge fan but if you have the 1080P screen, it should look amazing.
The geforce 8600 will allow you to play any game... ANY.
Some games like crysis will be toned down though (graphics on low, etc) but on a game like Civilizations, it should run perfectly at high graphics. I recommend upgrading speakers, because I heard the speakers aren't that great.
I also think the camera has a 2.0 megapixel, which is quite high for a built in camera.
Good luck!!
